Cookie & Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. Current use
The website does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. The quick estimate uses browser local storage named br-tinting-quote to remember the choices you enter on your device. The Colour Studio may use br-tinting-ppf-selection to transfer your selected render to the estimate.
2. Why it is used and when it is removed
This storage prevents the estimate from being lost if you leave and return. br-tinting-quote is removed after a successful submission or when you clear site data; starting another estimate replaces its content. br-tinting-ppf-selection is replaced when you make another Colour Studio selection and can be removed through browser site-data controls. These values currently have no automatic expiry.
3. Consent controls before analytics
If analytics, advertising pixels, embedded media or other non-essential tracking is added, BR Tinting will first add a consent control that allows visitors to accept or reject non-essential categories. Non-essential technology will remain off until a valid choice is made.
4. Strictly necessary Admin session
The password-protected Admin uses a strictly necessary, signed session cookie named br_admin_session. It is HttpOnly, uses an appropriate SameSite setting, is Secure in production and expires after eight hours. It is not used for advertising or public-site analytics.
5. Managing stored data
You can remove local storage and cookies through your browser's privacy or site-data settings. Blocking local storage may stop the estimate from remembering progress but should not prevent access to the rest of the public website.
6. Updates
This page must be updated whenever a new cookie, analytics product, payment embed or tracking provider is introduced.
